After nine months and almost 3000 hours of planning, preparing and implementing, JONSSON WORKWEAR went live on DATASCOPE WMS on the 1st of July 2013.
This Greenfield site is a showcase for both JONSSON WORKWEAR and DATASCOPE . Much time was spent investigating the various options for the warehouse design to ensure that the final result is particularly focused on giving JONSSON WORKWEAR specific strategic business benefits.

CATERING EQUIPMENT
American Metalcraft Inc., based in Chicago IL, made history as the first US Based DATASCOPE WMS site. AMC went live at the end of January 2017.
We were exceptionally pleased with the go-live and commitment from the staff at AMC as well as Business Technology Partners (DATASCOPE DSP in Chicago), which resulted in the site going live a day earlier than planned. On day three after go-live the DC was back up to full volume.
CHEMICAL & FERTILIZER
Another AECI group company, Akulu Marchon, has joined the ranks of the ever-growing base of DATASCOPE WMS users. Chemical Services is the specialty chemicals component of the AECI Group and Akulu manufactures and distributes raw materials to the surfactant, cosmetic, toiletry, detergent, pharmaceutical and selected performance chemical markets. The company manufactures and imports products from its Production and Warehousing facility in Chemserve Place in Chloorkop, Kempton Park.

W. R. MEADOWS, INC. based in Hampshire IL USA, designs, manufactures and markets high-quality building materials for today’s construction professionals. Products are sold through an authorized distribution network. WRM is a family-owned and operated a company, focusing on product quality, outstanding service, and business integrity since 1926.
Contract Manufacture
Due to SYSPRO’s very strong presence in the manufacturing sector it is understandable that many contract manufactures run the software. With DATASCOPE WMS tight integration to SYSPRO and the need in these contract manufacturing operations to track product at a pallet level, DATASCOPE WMS is generally implemented.

African Sales Company (ASCO) is the leading distributor in Southern Africa of fine fragrances and related cosmetics in selective distribution. The Head Office and DC are located in Midrand, Johannesburg South Africa with Regional Sales offices in Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth, Windhoek, Namibia, and Gaborone.

Established in June 1984, ElectroMechanica is a specialist direct importer and wholesale distributor of industrial electrical products, motor control switchgear and electronic automation products. Working with over 40 high-quality brands including Lovato, Finder, Delta, Hager, Socomec and Scame, ElectroMechanica is considered a leader in the market.

Magalies Citrus Company Ltd contacted DATASCOPE looking for “intelligent scanners”. This was the commencement of the DATASCOPE WMS project implementation at their juice-extraction plant in the Brits District.

FAST-MOVING CONSUMER GOODS
Patleys Johannesburg (Crown Mines) stock take and go-live took place at the beginning of October 2013. Patleys achieved their daily sales targets from day one which was great as they were moving into their peak period. During the second day of go-live, >38500 cases were picked and checked out into the dispatch cages.

SABCO makes history as DATASCOPE’s first site in Australia. DATASCOPE has long had an eye on the Australian SYSPRO market but has not been able to secure a large client in this country despite having engaged with a number of very suitable companies.

Another Bidfood Ingredients facility, Chipkins Bakery Ingredient’s Longmeadow factory went live during September 2010 on DATASCOPE WMS. Chipkins Bakery Ingredients are the top manufacturers in the bakery industry and offer a comprehensive range of high-quality products. Chipkins Bakery Ingredients supply Chipkins Bakery Supplies, Crown National and Bidfood Exports with around 90 tons per day of bakery ingredients.
FURNITURE AND FITTINGS
Summer Classics based in Pelham Alabama, USA has selected and implemented DATASCOPE WMS to optimize their manufacturing and distribution operations.
Kruse Animal Feeds
This operation involves high volume animal feed packing and shipping to customers. Raw product is shipped in in large truck loads and loaded into a range of ground storage tanks or silo tanks. A sister company based next door also ships large hoppers of milled product to Kruse.
LIGHTING
BEKA (Pty) Ltd, Africa’s leading manufacturer of Luminaires and Glass Fibre Reinforced Polyester (GRP) Poles has selected and implemented the DATASCOPE WMS barcoding solution for SYSPRO ERP. The company produces high quality products and solutions for all forms of lighting. During 2009 BEKA have supplied much of the lighting to the South African soccer world class stadiums.
PACKAGING
Taurus Packaging (Pty) Ltd is a manufacturer of paper bags and sacks for the southern African market. The company converts in excess of 20 000 tons of paper every year in the Isethebe factory close to Durban South Africa. With around 75% of all raw materials being imported the company needs to carry a large quantity of raw material inventory. This inventory value is very high and therefore has to be very carefully managed. Using SYSPRO, Taurus contacted DATASCOPE with an enquiry on the WMS system offering.

Juzo USA is a subsidiary of Juzo Germany, a company with a history of over 100 years. Juzo started back in 1917 in East Germany the “stocking capital” of the world. Over the years the company grew its operations and improved on its technology. In the 1960’s Juzo became the first company to manufacture latex free products. In the 1970’s Juzo purchased land in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and in the 1980’s manufacturing started in the USA.
