Earlier this year, we wrote about DATASCOPE’s 2021 business plan and all of the things we hoped to accomplish in 2021. With this year firmly in the rearview and 2022 almost upon us, we wanted to take some time to reflect upon a very productive year for DATASCOPE WMS.
NOTABLE 2021 ACHIEVEMENTS
For starters, we achieved an impressive 85% of our development roadmap for 2021. It’s been a long journey and we’re still hard at work improving and innovating, but we’re proud of the fact that DATASCOPE has enjoyed yet another year of strong revenue gains that we’ve become accustomed to year after year. We expect this trend to continue in 2022 with even more feature upgrades currently in development.
We’ve also added even more industry-leading SYSPRO customers to our customer base, and we saw a large increase in user licensing from our existing client base. We don’t want to toot our own horn, but what further proof could we need that we’re doing good work?
HEAD OFFICE UPGRADE
In 2020, we began working with John Urban Architects to give our DATASCOPE Charlotte Head Office a corporate “make-over”. This transformation was completed in 2021 with both the interior office and exterior building being upgraded. We couldn’t be happier with the final result and we’re confident that the street view of the business as shown on Google Maps now portrays the correct, professional image our business expects of itself.
EMS GOLD PARTNERSHIP
In late September 2021, SYSPRO EMEA&I held their PartnerUp Channel Conference at the Zebula Golf Estate in South Africa. DATASCOPE WMS was given our very own exhibition stand and 40-minute speaker slot in the conference agenda thanks to the sponsorship of our Distribution Channel Partner (DSP) for the African region, Enterprise Mobility Services (EMS), headed by their Managing Director, Terry Shaw.
It was during this speaker slot when our Chief Software Architect, Steven Cooper, was able to show off a live demo of DATASCOPE’s Augmented Reality (AR) functionality that we’ve been working on for our Task Management module. We think AR will be a game-changer when it comes to customizing task allocation and guiding operators at a task level on the warehouse floor.
EXPANDING THE BRAND
In our quest to become the premium WMS solution for the global SYSPRO market, the DATASCOPE WMS brand has continued to expand in 2021. If it wasn’t for our incredible DATASCOPE staff, their high standards of customer service, and attention to detail, there’s no way we would’ve been able to maintain such high levels of operational excellence or achieve even half of our development roadmap this year.
We want to thank all DATASCOPE staff, partners and clients for making this such a special year and we can’t wait for 2022!
