In September 2023, DATASCOPE was honored to participate in the SYSPRO Channel Conference, a remarkable event held at the Seasons Resort and Golf Course near Hartbeespoort Dam. At the heart of our presence was the much-anticipated launch of our groundbreaking software, FASTTRACK WMS, designed exclusively for SYSPRO SMMEs.
The conference was an opportunity for us to connect with familiar faces, fostering a sense of camaraderie and shared purpose within the industry. Among the prominent attendees were RiteScan, Translution, and a diverse international participation featuring VARs from Australia, the UK (including HIT Var and ZAP ISV), the Netherlands, and the United States.
One of our lead DSPs also attended the event—Terry and Farren from EMS – who made sure to connect with each SYSPRO VAR and reseller.
We also emphasized educating Value-Added Resellers (VARs) by registering at our DATASCOPE University, an invaluable resource for learning and certification that we offer free of charge. With this knowledge, VARs can become certified FASTTRACK WMS Implementers and embark on a journey that rewards them with an enticing 20% commission for the first five years.
A Celebration of Winners
Our lucky draw competition generated significant interest, with around 95 entries from approximately 150 attendees. The prize presentation proceeded smoothly, with our name shining brightly on the big screen while Mark presented the coveted award. Congratulations to our lucky winner, Shaheen Ally from Mega Tech, who walked away with the incredible EcoFlow Delta1300 portable power station, ensuring he never misses his favorite rugby matches again.
Networking was another area where we excelled, effectively conveying the essence of FASTTRACK WMS to our peers and potential partners. This networking success leads us to anticipate an increase in sign-ups for our low-cost, quick-install software and the free training program.
During their presentations and discussions, Mark and Johan from SYSPRO demonstrated unwavering support for DATASCOPE. Our name featured prominently in various presentations and discussions, reaffirming our positive impact in the field. We also had the opportunity to reconnect with Doug Hunter, who, true to form, remained a strong advocate for DATASCOPE. For those who may not know, Doug has transitioned from SYSPRO and now serves African customers in a VAR model.
